This week had to create a mash-up which we done by creating
our own Google map which showed Oak trees within Ireland. We were given
information on an excel word document which contained place names, and
locations of different areas where Oak trees grow and also scared trees in
Ireland. This was used form location points on our map. As you see in the below
map, the Purple locations are the Oak trees and red pins are the scared trees.
The overall formation of the map was extremely enjoyable as you formed
different layers, customized the pin and renamed the tags. This task is a brilliant
skill and I will definitely use this process again in college project and
personal travel trips.
